Theatre, Motion Pictures and
Television: Highlights from the Archives Center
Collections Since the dawn of time, performers have engaged and entertained audiences. Ideas about history, religion, culture and entertainment have been shared through music and drama. These themes are now played out on stages, movies and television screens. Entertainment has allowed generations of patrons to live vicariously through the stories presented. The Archives Center collections are rich in the history of the entertainment industry and the personalities it has created. These collections include paper, film, video, audio and photographic materials. The items displayed here focus on five elements: the business, the script, the talent, the fans and the marketing. <
