Dedicating a monument, 1920s

Though Edison allowed the Menlo Park lab to fall into ruin in the years after moving to West Orange, the site remained significant for the events which had ocurred there. Edison returned to Menlo Park for the dedication of this marker which, along with a tower topped by a huge light-bulb, can be seen at the site today.
